On June 9, 2023, Zhu Tanyu, a lawyer from the International Commercial, Maritime and Foreign Affairs Department of Fujian Tianheng United Law Firm, was invited to give a lecture on "Risk Points and Prevention Measures in the Entire Process of Logistics Management" for Xiamen Port Development Co., Ltd. and its affiliated business companies. Fujian Port Group Co., Ltd. participated remotely.
Lawyer Zhu Tanyu sorted out the main legal risks and risk prevention and control measures in the logistics management process from five aspects: client credit investigation, risk prevention and control nodes in the transportation process, risk prevention and control nodes in the warehousing process, moral hazard prevention and control of business personnel, and daily business dispute handling. And further discussed with the participants issues such as the identity recognition of logistics enterprises, the difficulty in controlling risks of customs declaration enterprises, and the loss of control of property rights due to goods being cleared through customs.
Lawyer Zhu Tanyu is familiar with international commercial and maritime business. He graduated from well-known maritime colleges and universities at home and abroad with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in maritime law. He once worked at China Shipping Group, a leading shipping enterprise in China, in charge of long-distance bulk cargo transportation business, and has rich experience in international bulk cargo transportation business. Later, he served as a case secretary at the Xiamen Arbitration Commission and is familiar with commercial arbitration business. Since joining Fujian Tianheng United Law Firm in 2016, Lawyer Zhu Tanyu has accumulated rich practical experience in resolving foreign-related disputes such as maritime cargo transportation, international freight forwarding, and international trade.
